How to replace the front door striker on 2006 Chevrolet SSR?

In order to change the striker on the front door, use a screwdriver in place of the screws and shims and then remove the striker. Install the new striker and screw it up. Close the door with checking the alignment and open the door and screw the screws to the given torque.
