How to replace the Rack and Pinion steering gear on 2006 Chevrolet HHR?

In order to remove the rack and pinion, I adjusted the steering wheel to the straight position, removed the key, and locked the steering column. Lift the car, take off the front tires and do not spin the middle shaft. Unscrew parts, remove the rack and pinion, replace it and ensure that all connections are effective.
