How to replace the steering wheel on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

To change the steering wheel, dispose of the SIR system and pull out the inflatable restraint module. Unclip cruise control switch where fitted. Take out the steering wheel nut and the wheel with a puller, when needed. Install the wheel back, tighten the nut and reconnect the cruise control and also activate the SIR system.
