The first step to replace the Fuel Tank pressure sensor involves tank fuel removal. You should disconnect the Fuel Pump module harness electrical connector which is attached to the Fuel Tank pressure sensor. You can safely loosen the sensor off its Fuel Pump module position by using two flat-bladed screwdrivers which need placement on both sides around the vacuum port area. Install the Fuel Tank pressure sensor by putting it onto the Fuel Pump module assembly while making sure the sensor grommet satisfies the pump module. After connecting the electrical connector of the pump module to the Fuel Tank pressure sensor the Fuel Tank should be reinstalled.
