How to replace the front Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on 2006 Cadillac STS?

The replacement of the front position sensor on electronic suspension needs vehicle lifting followed by tire wheel removal. Begin by disconnecting both the front ride sensor link from the upper control arm ball stud together with the front ride sensor harness connector. Begin by untightening the front ride sensor retaining nut before lightly striking the front ride sensor retaining stud to break its connection with the fender. The front ride sensor needs to be completely removed from the vehicle structure. The first step for mounting is to place the sensor correctly while tightening the front ride sensor retaining nut to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). Secure the front ride sensor link by attaching it to both the upper control arm ball stud then to the harness connector. Lower the vehicle before reinstallation of the tire and wheel.
