How to replace the left exhaust manifold (LP1, LY7) on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Take out the heat shield and oil level indicator, to substitute the left exhaust manifold. Unscrew the catalytic converter nuts and bolts of the exhaust manifold, then remove the manifold and dispose of the gasket. Wipe the manifold and change a new gasket and screw everything in place and place heat shield back.
