How to replace the intermediate steering shaft on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

Install the Steering Column Anti-Rotation Pin in order to replace the intermediate steering shaft and make sure that the steering column is in the LOCK position. Take off the left front tire, and then the intermediate steering shaft of the steering gear, and afterwards of the steering column. Install new shaft and fix all bolts.
