How to replace the ignition switch on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

To change ignition switch, turn off the SIR system and take off the steering column trim covers. Removed the theft deterrent module and ignition lock cylinder. Take out the ignition switch, also take out the electrical connector, and then put everything in the reverse order. Last but not least, empower the SIR system.
