Install the crankshaft front oil seal by using a flat-bladed tool like a large screwdriver with caution to prevent damaging both the bore of the crankshaft front oil seal and the seal contact surfaces against the crankshaft. Verify that both the crankshaft balancer and the engine front cover lack any scratches. Apply the Seal Installer (J35354-A) to install the crankshaft front oil seal into the engine front cover while tightening the bolt until the seal reaches its correct position. Seal Installer (J35354-A) must be removed before reinstallation of the crankshaft balancer with an additional leak inspection check.
