Hook up the Air Hose to the Spark Plug component of the adapter (J22794), place the adapter into the Spark Plug hole while you inject compressed air into the adapter to secure the valve. Utilize the valve spring compressor (J38606) to compress the valve spring and pull out the valve stem keys and slow release the tension of the valve spring. Take out the valve spring (J38604), the valve spring cap (J38605), the Valve Stem Oil Seal, and the shim (1, 5) after removing the valve spring compressor (J38606). Clean the Cylinder Head valve spring seat or shim place, and lubricate the valve guide and Valve Stem Oil Seal applying clean engine oil, and install the Valve Stem Oil Seal and shim (1,5). Next, install the valve spring (and the valve spring cap), compress the spring with the valve spring compressor (J38606) so that you can instill the keys on the valve spring, place grease on them to keep them in place and ensure they snap in the groove of the valve stem.
