To replace the Crank Shaft Position (CKP) Sensor (24X), remove the crankshaft balancer first. Mark the route of the CKP sensor harness before removal. After that, remove the CKP sensor harness retaining clip bolt as well as the CKP retaining clip. The CKP sensor has to be detached by removing the CKP sensor bolts before removing the sensor itself. Installation begins by positioning the CKP sensor and securing it using the CKP sensor bolts, tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Then, install the CKP sensor harness retaining clip and the retaining clip bolt, tightening the bolt fully to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Connect the CKP sensor wire connector and replace the crankshaft balancer. Lastly, execute the crankshaft variation learn procedure.
