How to replace a dual muffler on 2005 Chevrolet Impala?

In order to fit the replacement of the dual muffler, lift and hold up the vehicle and exhaust system. Take catalytic converter out of the muffleler, disconnect the muffleler to the hangers and clean the mating surfaces. Install a new gasket by reconnecting the muffler and checking the existence of exhaust leakages after the vehicle is lowered. The muffler is a complete assembly.
