How to replace the rear door hinge on 2005 Chevrolet Impala?

To install the rear door hinge, have the rear door closed and work on each of the hinges in turn starting with the damaged one. Prepare the mounting surfaces, locate hinge marks and take out the bolts in both hinges. Install new hinge based on alignment indications and screw the bolts. Lastly, shut rear door and check it.
