Start the MAP Sensor replacement process by unplugging the electrical connection from the pressure sensor unit. You need to begin by disconnecting the electrical connector from the MAP Sensor then use a t27 torx bit to extract the MAP Sensor retaining bolt from both the MAP Sensor and its bracket. Afterward, remove the MAP Sensor as well as any MAP Sensor port seal attached to the Intake Manifold. Place the MAP Sensor on the Intake Manifold and join it with the MAP Sensor retaining bracket before attaching the retaining bolt . Follow the fastener notice in service precautions for tightening the bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector when completing the installation.
