How to service and repair the pressure plate on 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt?

To service pressure plate, undo the transmission and clutch cover bolts till the pressure in the spring is released then undo the clutch cover and disc. Install the clutch cover and disc, see that they are in proper alignment. Install bolts one after another without putting too much lubricant on the input shaft splines. Lastly, attach the transmission and attach the battery cable.
