  A: The process starts with air cleaner outlet resonator removal followed by Throttle Body extraction and complete removal of pcv hose and purge solenoid tube and brake booster hose along with oil level indicator tube bolt. After the Fuel Rail removal please disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector and separate the knock sensor harness connector from the Intake Manifold. Drink the Intake Manifold nuts and bolts before removing the manifold. You can keep the Intake Manifold Gasket for re-use unless you detect any damage. During the installation process first place the Intake Manifold Gasket on and then set the Intake Manifold into position. First install Intake Manifold nuts with bolts which require a torque setting of 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) before attaching the knock sensor harness connector and the knock sensor electrical connector. Connect the Fuel Rail followed by the Throttle Body then install the oil level indicator tube bolt and tighten the bolt to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). You should finish your repair work by connecting the brake booster hose together with the purge solenoid tube and pcv hose before putting back the Throttle Body and air cleaner outlet resonator.
