How to replace the negative battery cable on 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Start by disconnecting the negative battery cable from the negative battery post then remove the negative battery cable bolt and break the sensor connection. After carefully marking the installation path, disconnect the ground cable which was attached to the vehicle. For installation connect the sensor to the bolt and install the negative battery cable bolt while tightening it to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) as per Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. After the installation process has finished you must attach the negative battery cable.
