How to replace the upper intermediate steering shaft on 2005 Chevrolet Blazer?

To replace the upper intermediate Steering Shaft, first, assume the steering wheel in a straight forward position, then turn the ignition switch to the lock position and decide on taking the key away. Observe the relationship between upper intermediate shaft and lower intermediate shaft, and upper intermediate shaft to the Steering Column for correct installation. The next thing you should do is remove the Steering Column then remove the nut and bolt that fasten the upper intermediate shaft to the Steering Column and then remove the upper intermediate shaft. In installation, slide the upper intermediate shaft up on the Steering Column and install the nut and bolt to help secure the shaft by tightening the shaft by a force of 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs). Finally, reinstall the Steering Column.
