How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Blazer?

To change Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor, lift the car and remove the shield on the steering linkage (where present). Loose the harness of the CKP sensor and take off the sensor and the mounting bolt. Install the new sensor using a lubricated O-ring, reconnect the harness, and install the shield again. Lastly, lower and go through CKP system variation learn procedure.
