How to replace the rear wheel bearing/hub on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?

You must lift your vehicle and put it on stands to access the wheel area at the rear. After removing the tire and wheel you need to take off the brake rotor. Unplug the Wheel Bearing/hub electric connector while you remove its bolts and pull down the Wheel Bearing/hub and brake shield unit from the lower Control Arm. Wash the Control Arm surface and the inner hub circle before placing the new hub and bearing. Install both the brake shield and Wheel Bearing/hub onto the Control Arm using the 70 nm (52 ft. Lbs.) force to tighten the Wheel Bearing/hub retaining bolts. Plug in the wheel electrical connector first and then put on the tire wheel above it before letting the vehicle down.
