The replacement of the Turn Signal Switch should begin with the sir system being disabled. Then, take off the trim and the retaining screws, and pull the electrical connectors apart from the switch. After taking off the Turn Signal Switch, plug the electrical harnesses into the new switch and attach it to the Steering Column. Make sure to screw in the retaining screws to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.), and after that, put the Steering Column trim covers back on and activate the sir system.
