  A: Replacements of the underhood electrical center or junction block start with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. First untighten the fastener which maintains the Fuse Box negative cable while reaching behind to remove the electrical cover. Disconnect the electrical connector before you take out the fasteners which hold down the Fuse Box board. You should first unlock both tabs on the Fuse Box board followed by lifting it up then pulling the harness upward at the locking tabs until it comes off. The installation of the Fuse Box to the vehicle requires removal of its fasteners (1, 2). Fasteners (1, 2) should be installed first for Fuse Box attachment to the vehicle body secured with 10 n.m (86 lb in) torque. Install the fasteners securing the Fuse Box board by tightening them to 7 n.m (62 lb in). The fastener for the negative cable to Fuse Box needs installation before tightening it to 15 n.m (11 lb ft) while the Fuse Box cover follows. Reconnect the negative Battery Cable as the last step in the process.
