The seat adjuster drive cables need to be detached from the motor after disconnecting its electrical connector. Drill the factory motor inserts out from the bottom side of the seat motor plate by placing the seat backside down on a clean dry surface using a 3/16 in drill bit. To secure the new seat adjuster motor on its motor plate, first insert the motor insert into the motor grommet of the motor followed by using the bolt to connect the motor to the motor plate and tightening it to 4 N.m (36 lb in).
