Begin power recliner motor replacement in the front seat by unmounting the front bucket seat together with the power recliner position sensor. First disconnect the electrical connector from the motor then remove the recliner motor retaining nuts. Broader up the motor until it leaves the shaft. The recliner motor installation procedure requires first fitting it onto the shaft then attaching the recliner motor nuts until they achieve 10 N.m (88 lb in) torque. You must first reconnect the electrical connection then install both the recliner position sensor and finally put the seat back into the vehicle.
