How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

The replacement process for electric cooling Fan Motor starts with removing the cooling fan assembly. Start by removing the Fan Blade retaining nut which connects it to the motor while detaching the Fan Blade from the motor shaft. Proceed by unscrewing the motor retaining screws which allows the removal of the motor from the shroud. Reinstall the motor within the shroud by putting it into position and tighten its retaining screws to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). Place the Fan Blade onto the motor shaft after which gently spin the fan until it falls onto position. Secure the Fan Blade retaining nut to the motor while tightening it to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.) followed by reinstallation of the cooling fan assembly.
