How to service and repair the starter motor on 2004 Buick Regal?

To service and repair the starter motor, disconnect the negative cable from the battery and raise the vehicle. Remove the torque converter covers and the air deflector panel. Remove starter bolts and disconnect starter solenoid hook-ups to remove the starter motor. Reassemble by aligning and tightening down starter motor and connections and reassemble the vehicle.
