The process starts with opening side doors from the right or left section before beginning replacement of the auxiliary front door Weather Strip. The front door sealing Weather Strip's push pin retainers must be removed from its base-pillar location so you can expose the Weather Strip side retainers screws and pull back the Weather Strip. You need to pull out the Weather Strip side retainers that are located on the windshield pillars while you remove their screws. Place the Weather Strip side retainer on the windshield pillar before securing it with screws while tightening them to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Lastly complete the installation by reinserting retaining push pins to the front door sealing Weather Strip base of the pillar and shutting the doors.
