How to replace the steering wheel on 2004 Buick LeSabre?

Before taking out the Steering Wheel, firstly deactivate the sir system because sir is associated with the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module. Remove the Steering Wheel electrical connector and, if fitted, the weight block from the Steering Wheel base. Then take away the Steering Wheel retaining nut and take a mark of the alignment way on the Steering Shaft and also on the Steering Wheel. Attach the Steering Wheel puller legs (J42578) and the Steering Wheel puller (J1859-A) on the Steering Wheel, and utilize these tools to eliminate the Steering Wheel and the Steering Column away from one another. After taking away the tools, pass the wires through the new Steering Wheel with the sign on the Steering Wheel being equal to that on the shaft and then put it in. Mount the Steering Wheel retaining nut and tighten it to 41 nm (30 ft. Lbs), add weight block if applicable. Reattach the Steering Wheel electrical connector, put on the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module, and then turn on the sir system.
