How to Replace the Automatic Transmission Filter and Fluid on 2003 Chevrolet SSR?

Raise and support vehicle, position pan under transmission. Remove oil pan drain plug, move selector cable bracket aside, lower pan. Remove bolts, drain fluid, pan, gasket, filter and seal; inspect fluid for debris. Clean surfaces. Install seal, filter, gasket, pan, bolts; reinstall bracket, plug, lower vehicle, refill with dexron iii, check cold level and leaks.
