After one removes both the lead and the nut from the stud, extract the battery positive fuse block cable from the stud. Start by disengaging the kick-up panel latches from within your vehicle then open the panel to lift upward the panel bottom section out of its slots in the multi-use relay bracket for removal of the kick-up panel. The junction block separation from its bracket must be performed before repositioning the junction block nut boot and removing the Instrument Panel (IP) wiring harness junction block nut. Obtain the battery positive fuse block cable from the stud then pass it through the dash opening before cable removal. The fuse block cable should go through the dash front while installing followed by connecting the battery positive fuse block cable to the stud. Tighten the IP wiring harness junction block nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in). After placing the junction block nut boot into position you need to fasten the junction block to its bracket before checking that kick-up panel latches are open. Insert the kick-up panel lower tabs into the slots within the bracket before you close the panel while using your fingers to push the latches into their holes. After installing the battery positive fuse block cable to the stud you must add the positive battery cable lead to the adjacent stud then secure the positive battery cable nut by torquing it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Install the battery tray after finishing by closing the stud cover on the fuse/relay center cover.
