How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on 2003 Cadillac Seville?

Before working on the Vehicle Speed Sensor replacement you must raise your vehicle up and remove the bolts (1, 3) that keep the front transaxle brace fixed to its position. After pulling off the electrical connector from the Vehicle Speed Sensor you can remove bolt 131 and sensor 130 by twisting and pulling the sensor outward. When putting the vss in place lock down the parts by placing Vehicle Speed Sensor 130 together with retaining bolt 131 and use a fresh o-ring seal if needed. Tighten bolt 131 to 10 nm (89 inch-lbs). Connect the sensor electrical connector after placing bolts (1, 3) into the front transaxle brace to attach it to the transaxle and right Cylinder Head before the vehicle can be lowered.
