The egr valve pipe needs to be disconnected from the Exhaust Manifold and the spark plugs need removal before removing the Exhaust Manifold. It is vital to clean every surface where the Exhaust Manifold seals before adding the new Exhaust Manifold. When the replacement is complete you must link the egr valve pipe to the manifold while also reinstalling the spark plugs before attaching the Exhaust Pipe to the Exhaust Manifold until you place the engine cover in its proper position.
