When fixing the fan assembly you should match up the yellow paint marks between the Fan Clutch hub and the Water Pump hub. To extract the Fan Clutch from the coolant pump begin by using the Fan Clutch wrench (J 41240). Use j 41240-1 as an insertion into the Water Pump holes before employing j 41240-2 to turn the Fan Clutch nut in a counter-clockwise direction with steady pressure applied to j 41240-1. Begin by removing the fan with its clutch as one piece before removing the Fan Clutch mounting bolts which enables you to separate the fan from the clutch. Start by securing the fan to Fan Clutch mounting bolts and firmly tighten them to 33 nm (24 ft. Lbs.). Follow these actions to install the fan and Fan Clutch assembly to the coolant pump pulley by using the Fan Clutch wrench (J 41240) then reinstall the upper Fan Shroud.
