How to Service and Repair the 4L80-E Automatic Transmission Filter and Fluid on 2002 Chevrolet Express 2500?

In order to service the 4l80-e automatic transmission, lift the car and then place a drain pan below the oil pan. Take out the oil pan and parts, checking the gasket in case of replacements. Wipe the surfaces after which filter, gasket and oil pan are installed. Lastly, pour dexron iii fluid into the transmission.
