Q: How to replace the Washer Pump and Washer Reservoir on 2002 Cadillac Seville?
A: The first step is to remove the electrical connectors from both the washer pump and the solvent level sensor switch, then take off the washer hose from the washer pump. After taking off the A/C Accumulator, take out the container's nuts and screws, and take the container out of the vehicle. After you have drained the solvent into the right container, pull the washer pump firmly away from the container and gently take it out of the grommet. Take out the washer pump and grommet from the washer solvent container, and carefully lift the outer edge of the level sensor to take it off the grommet, also removing the level the first step for installation is to put the grommet for the level sensor switch into the container, then place the switch on the grommet and press down firmly. Attach the washer solvent container cap and make sure the washer pump is sitting all the way into the seal, then push the seal onto the container. Put the washer pump onto the seal, press down to get it seated, then move the pump into place inside the washer solvent container. Line up the washer solvent container to the studs, fasten the nuts by hand first, and then tighten them all to 6 n.m (53 lb in), after which tighten the screw to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Fit the A/C Accumulator into position, connect the electrical wires to the washer solvent level sensor switch and washer pump, put some washer solvent on the washer hose end to help installation, hook up the washer hose to the washer pump, and then fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
