Start by removing the fuel injector sight shield followed by disconnecting electrical connectors from the ignition control module and secondary air injection system vent solenoid. The procedure begins with air shutoff valve removal followed by executing each removal step to extract the ignition cassette retaining bolts then slowly remove the ignition cassette. Place the ignition cassette grounding spring along with its insulator before you install the Spark Plug boots onto spark plugs and install the ignition cassette with care. Secure the ignition cassette retaining bolts in place with a torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in) through the specified installation torque sequence. To finalize the procedure install first the air shutoff valve then connect the electrical wiring for the ignition cassette and the air vent solenoid and finally secure the fuel injector sight shield into position.
