In order to change the Body Control Module (BCM), the ignition should be turned off. Disconnect the connectors of the BCM and take out the instrument panel sound insulators. Take the BCM out of the bracket, put it at an angle, making sure that it clips in. Reconnect the connectors, reattach the sound insulators and program the BCM with the scan tool.
