Take off the lower Radiator Hose before you remove the compressor hose assembly from the condenser by discarding the o-ring seal. The installation process starts with putting a new o-ring seal onto which you should apply 525 viscosity refrigerant oil. The compressor hose assembly requires tightening to 28 n.m (21 lb ft) when installed to the condenser. After reinstalling the lower Radiator Hose users must place a new o-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil on it. The compressor hose assembly then connects to the accumulator before finishing with a 48 n.m (35 lb ft) torque. Install sealing washers before you attach the compressor hose assembly to the compressor unit including the washer and bolt placement and tighten the bolt to 33 n.m (24 lb ft). The a/c system needs evacuating and recharging followed by a leak test on the fittings through the use of halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
