How to replace the engine flywheel on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

At this stage, in order to replace the engine flywheel, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the transaxle assembly. In the case of manual transmission, remove the pressure plate and clutch. Take away the flywheel retaining bolts and wipe off the crankshaft flange. Install the flywheel, sealant and screw the bolts in that order. Install and connect the battery cable again.
