In order to change the ignition coil, unconnect the spark plug wire and electrical connector of the defective coil. Use the bolts that hold the ignition coil to the valve cover and extract it. Re-attach the spark plug wire, install the position the new coil, fasten it, and re-attach the electrical connector.
