How to replace the Hood Cable for the Primary Latch Release on 2001 Chevrolet Lumina?

Removal of the air cleaner and hood latch will be used to replace the Hood Cable. Unplug the cable on the engine compartment and unscrew the insulator of the left instrument panel. Get the cable, loop tie wire on it and take it off the dash panel. Installation requires threading the new cable under the dash panel, fixing it, and replacing parts.
