How to replace the power seat switch on 2001 Chevrolet Lumina?

In order to replace the power seat switch, the power feed circuit should not be shorted. Carefully disconnect the switch on the seat and switch off the ignition and trim panel and switch screws are removed. Once the switch has been disconnected, place the new switch, fasten it, attach the electrical harness and install the trim panel again.
