How to replace the Heater Core on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to change the heater core, un-hook the heater hose, and remove the instrument panel assembly. Disassemble heater core retaining fasteners and then the heater core and seals. Install the new heater core, straps and seals, and re-install the instrument panel and attach on the hoses. The J 39400 Halogen Leak Detector should be used.
