Before removing bank 1 sensor 2 always verify your engine temperature exceeds 48°c (120°F) since this will defend against Exhaust Manifold or Exhaust Pipe threading damage. Perform the following sequence to start: turn off the ignition followed by vehicle lifting and support installation. To remove the ho2s electrical connector, first push out the tab protecting the electrical connector then detach the Oxygen Sensor connection from the connector assembly.
