How to replace the MAP Sensor on VIN K applications on 2001 Buick Regal?

To change the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor on VIN K applications, make sure the ignition is off. Pull off the fuel injector sight shield and take off the MAP sensor's electrical connector. Gently disconnect the locking tabs on the MAP sensor fitted to the PCV valve cover and remove the sensor, then pull it straight out of the positive crankcase ventilation valve cover. Be sure to check that the seal is put in place correctly and does not show any signs of damage before installation. Lay the MAP sensor in the PCV valve cover and make sure the tabs catch to keep it in place. Once the connector is attached, put the fuel injector sight shield back into place.
