How to service and repair the torsion bar on 2000 GMC Jimmy?

In order to service and repair the torsion bar, use lifts and support the vehicle. Unload torsion bar by Torsion Bar Loading/Unloading Tool, with the number of turns being recorded. Take off the lower connection mount nuts and torsion bars, and make sure to record the orientation. Install back in the same order and change the torsion bar.
