  A: The repair service for the EGR Tube starts with the removal of the air cleaner outlet duct before removing the egr pipe bracket retaining fastener. Stretch the pipe fittings which secure the egr pipe at its beginning and ending points before pulling out the EGR Tube altogether. The egr pipe needs correct positioning before starting and manually installing the pipe fittings that will not reach full tightness. Place the egr pipe fittings correctly on top of the exhaust and Intake Manifold adapters. Tighten the egr pipe fitting at the Exhaust Manifold to 30 n.m while the Intake Manifold fitting should be fastened to 25 n.m. Secure the egr pipe bracket retaining fastener to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) after which you can complete the installation of the air cleaner outlet duct.
