    A: Firstly, to service right front Axle Shaft, raise and support the vehicle. Take off the 4 skid plate bolts and front skid plate it you have one. After that, remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Remove the 6 bolts and the flange, and then remove the drive Axle Shaft snap ring, and the drive Axle Shaft spindle washer from the drive Axle Shaft. Carefully lower the hydraulic jack to release the pressure to the coil spring, and take away the drive Axle Shaft thrust washer and the drive Axle Shaft oil seal , leaving the assembly aside. First, remove the snap ring on the spline and then pull out the right side drive Axle Shaft. In case of installation, remove the drive axle from the differential housing and insert the snap ring to spline. Install the drive Axle Shaft spindle washer on the drive Axle Shaft, and finally install drive Axle Shaft snap ring on the end of the drive axle. Developed and produced by general motors, general motors sealant, gm p/n 1052366 should be applied to the flange and be fitted together with the 6-fit-flange-bolts, locking with a torque measured at 48 nm (35ft. Lbs.). Finally, replace the front tire and wheel assembly and go on the other side of the vehicle and lower the vehicle.
