How to replace the radiator hose inlet on 2000 Chevrolet Impala?

Start the hose inlet replacement process by draining part of the cooling system fluid. Remove the left diagonal brace. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) must be used to place a hose clamp on the Thermostat Housing before removing the inlet hose from its port. Using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) you should first disconnect the Radiator inlet hose by removing the clamp. Then extract the hose. Put new hose marks together then install it onto the Radiator. Reposition and install the hose clamp at the Radiator with hose clamp pliers (J 38185) while you attach the inlet hose to the Thermostat Housing. Insert and fasten the inlet hose at the Thermostat Housing location using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185). End the process by reattaching the left diagonal brace before filling the cooling system and conducting leak detection.
