How to replace a water pump in an engine on 2000 Cadillac Escalade?

Servicing and repairing the water pump, empty the coolant, take off the upper fan shroud, drive belt, fan, fan clutch and pulley. Loosen hose connections, loosen bolts, and remove the pump, cleaning the surfaces. Install new gaskets, reconnect hoses and reassemble parts.
